Fredrik H.

Fredrik H. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Fredrik is currently employed at Cognite AS as the SVP Strategic Alliances, a role they assumed in May 2021. Prior to this, they served as the SVP Engineering at Cognite AS from April 2019 to May 2021, where they led a team of software engineers, product managers, and designers in developing Cognite Data Fusion, which played a crucial role in securing investments from Accel and TCV. Under their leadership, Cognite AS became Norway's first Unicorn.

Before joining Cognite AS, Fredrik worked at Microsoft for several years. Fredrik started as a Consultant Practice Manager from January 2009 to March 2011, followed by roles as a Senior Program Manager from March 2011 to February 2015, and as a Group Program Manager from March 2015 to June 2018.

Prior to their time at Microsoft, Fredrik worked at FAST, a Microsoft Subsidiary. Here, they served as an Engineering Manager from February 2008 to December 2008, a Senior Project Manager from January 2007 to January 2008, and a Senior Project Manager from February 2006 to December 2006.

Fredrik's earlier experiences include working at Eniro Norge (also known as Telenor Media & Findexa) as the Head of IT-Market department from January 2002 to January 2006, the Head of Database Development department from January 2001 to December 2001, and as a Database Developer from August 2000 to December 2000. Fredrik also worked as a Technical Analyst at Oracle from August 1998 to August 2000 and as a Consultant at NetCenter from August 1995 to August 1998.

Fredrik H. began their education at the University of Agder (UiA) from 1991 to 1994, where they pursued a degree in Electronics/Telematics and graduated as an Engineer. In 1997, they attended the University of Oslo (UiO) at the Institute of Informatics for a year, without obtaining a specific degree. Later, in 2001, Fredrik H. enrolled in the Electronic Business Development Master of Management course at BI Norwegian Business School for a brief period.
