Murad Samad Sæter has had a successful career with experience in various roles and companies. Murad Samad is currently working at Cognite as the Principal Partner Architect in the Office of the CTO. Prior to this role, they worked as the Principal Solution Architect at Cognite. Before joining Cognite, they spent four years at Cxense as the Director of Onboarding & Customer Success. In this role, they were responsible for onboarding customers in the EMEA region onto the Cxense platform and ensuring maximum ROI for the customers. Murad Samad also provided presales support, answered RFIs and RFPs, and ran proof of concepts. Murad Samad worked closely with the product development team to drive the development of Cxense products. Earlier in their career, Murad worked at Microsoft Norway as an Architect/Senior Consultant and later as a Senior Consultant. Murad Samad was involved in building best practice IP, solution architecture, design, and implementations, and supported Microsoft Consulting Services in projects in Western Europe. Before that, they worked at Fast Search & Transfer as a Lead Solution Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for solution architecture, design, and implementation of FAST ESP solutions. Murad Samad implemented projects with large customers in Europe and had expertise in distributed IT systems, FAST ESP, hardware architecture, network architecture, and storage solutions.

Murad Samad Sæter obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 1998 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, they also hold certifications such as AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, which they obtained in August 2020, and 70-534 Architecting Microsoft Azure, which they obtained in March 2015.
