Peter Gasper

Peter Gasper has a diverse work experience in the field of security engineering and cryptography. Peter is currently working at Cognite as a Senior Security Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Deutsche Telekom Pan-Net as a Senior Security Engineer and Access & Encryption Team Lead, and then as a DevOps Security Engineer with expertise in encryption. Peter also has experience as an IT Security Specialist at First Data Corporation, where they were responsible for cryptographic key management services and key administration. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Web Threat Analyst at ESET in the Core Research and Development team.

Peter Gasper has a strong academic background in the field of Applied Informatics - Information Systems Security. Peter earned their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from the Slovak University of Technology, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Peter further pursued their education at the same institution and completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree from 2012 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Peter Gasper also obtained two certifications. In November 2022, they completed the "Google Cloud Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure" course through Coursera. Furthermore, in February 2017, they received a certification in "International Cyber Conflicts" from Coursera Course Certificates. These certifications showcase their commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest developments in the field.
