Suhas Ananda Murthy

Suhas Ananda Murthy currently serves as the VP of Software Engineering at IndiaCognite, a position held since August 2025, focusing on team expansion across various levels. Prior to this role, Suhas worked at Microsoft as a Principal Engineering Manager and Senior Director from May 2024 to June 2025, specializing in AI Agents and Large Language Model Operations. During a significant tenure at Apple from June 2016 to April 2024, Suhas led the establishment of the first core product development team in India, successfully scaling the team to over 65 engineers without attrition while delivering high-performance products for  Cloud. Earlier experience includes a role at Samsung Electronics in distributed storage systems from July 2013 to June 2016. Suhas holds a Master of Science in Computer Science, Systems from Columbia Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Science and Technology from B. M. S. College of Engineering.
