Tom Chunat

Tom Chunat is a strategic advisor with extensive experience in refining and petrochemical operations. Currently serving as a technical consultant for the American Fuels & Petrochemical Manufacturers Association and as the principal and owner of Gulf Coast Energy Advisors LLC, Tom has held various leadership roles, including Director of Technical Excellence at Motiva Enterprises LLC and Sr. Director of Business Optimization at Andeavor. Tom has a background in engineering, having earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and has contributed to numerous projects throughout their career, including roles as a project engineer and operations manager at leading companies in the industry.
