Rob Trippe

Rob Trippe has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Rob currently works at Corporate Finance Advisory as a Corporate Finance and M&A Advisor and Analyst, providing financial statement analysis, forecasting, M&A, and valuation expertise on short and long-term projects. Rob has been with the company since 2017.

In 2020, Rob joined Cognitio Analytics LLC as the Vice President of Model Governance and Model Risk Management. Rob leads data management initiatives and combines finance and statistical expertise with data engineering capabilities.

Prior to that, Rob worked at GE Capital from 2014 to 2017 as part of the Model Risk Management team, assisting GE's private equity division in developing and documenting financial models for investments, acquisitions, and capital planning. Rob also has experience in Basel guidance and regulatory requirements.

From 2008 to 2014, Rob worked as a Corporate Finance and M&A Advisor and Analyst at Corporate Finance Consulting & Advisory, handling multiple FP&A and corporate finance consulting projects with a focus on risk management.

Before that, Rob served as the Director of Planning/Strategy at The Hertz Corporation from 2001 to 2007, where they were responsible for forecasting and monitoring the company's balance sheet and cash flow. Rob also worked as a Manager at Hertz from 2000 to 2001, overseeing acquisitions and divestitures.

Rob started their career as a Senior Analyst at The DAK Group in 1998 and as a General Partner at Sports Capital Management from 1995 to 1999. Rob also gained experience as a Senior Associate at Houlihan Lokey from 1993 to 1994, where they valued professional sports teams.

Rob Trippe holds an MBA degree in Finance from Boston College Carroll School of Management. Rob also has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Maine. Rob attended The Episcopal Academy for their earlier education. In 2008, they obtained the Accredited Valuation Analyst (AVA) certification from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts. In 2021, Rob received an Agile Leader Certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute through SSGI.
