Lance Bowley

Lance Bowley has worked in the software engineering field since 2015. In 2015, they worked as a Test Engineering Co-op at Textron Specialized Vehicles, where they were responsible for designing, programming, building, maintaining and documenting fixtures meant to test the reliability of new and current vehicle parts, organizing and verifying documentation, and machining of novel parts. In 2016, they worked as a Design Engineering Co-op at Textron. In 2017, they worked at the University of South Carolina as a Software Engineer, collaborating on NASA funded research to accelerate the simulation of ultrasonic wave propagations using the Distributed Point Source Method. Lance also delivered scalable multi-GPU solutions and created a specialized array of CUDA functions to generalize the problem space. In 2018, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Cognitiv, leveraging deep learning to make better decisions about how to buy advertising on the internet. In 2020, they became a Creator at Marketstream.io, where they focused on internet trading forums and the unique perspectives offered by internet communities.

Lance Bowley attended North Oldham High School from 2010 to 2013. Lance then earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina-Columbia in 2017.
