Matt Manuel

Matt Manuel has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Matt is currently the VP of Engineering at Cognitive3D. Previously, they served as a Member of the Board of Advisors at RawHyde Offroad, where they provided consulting and strategic guidance on expansion, staffing, social media, partnerships, curriculum, and networking. Matt also held multiple positions at Microsoft, including Principal TPM Manager, Lead of Microsoft Canada Disability Employee Resource Group, and Member of Disability Employee Resource Group (ERG) Worldwide Board. At Capcom Game Studio Vancouver, they served as the Senior Director of Product Development. Matt also founded Lab i5 LLC and held the role of Founder. Matt has worked in leadership positions at Electronic Arts (EA), Zynga, MightyPlay, and Yinwuweiye Media Corporation Ltd. At Zynga, they served as Senior Director of Production Operations and Senior Director of Development, overseeing various teams and providing support to game and platform teams.

Matt Manuel completed their Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo from 1988 to 1993. Matt also participated in an exchange program in engineering at the University of Technology Sydney in 1991. In terms of additional certifications, Matt obtained the following: Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals, Accessibility in Action, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Productivity Tips: Finding Your Productive Mindset, Remote Work Foundations, Coaching and Developing Employees, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate. These certifications were obtained from various institutions including Microsoft and LinkedIn between the years 2020 and 2021.
