Xiang Li

Software Engineer

Xiang Li is a skilled software and structural engineer with a strong background in both software development and civil engineering. Currently employed as a Software Engineer at Cognitive3D since August 2022, Xiang has been involved in designing, implementing, testing, and deploying features for the Cognitive3D Dashboard 3.0. Prior to this role, Xiang worked with WSP in Canada from April 2019 to April 2022, contributing to various key structural projects, including the Highway 1 Widening CP Rail Underpass Project and the Lower Liard Suspension Bridge Seismic and Wind Analysis Project. From October 2016 to March 2019, Xiang served as a Structural Engineer at Parsons Corporation, participating in multiple significant projects such as the South West Calgary Ring Road Bridge #33 Project and the California High-Speed Rail Project. Additional experience includes a brief tenure as a Structural Engineer at McElhanney and research assistance at UBC Engineering. Xiang holds a Master of Applied Science in Structural and Seismic Engineering from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Dalian Jiaotong University.
