Anthony Chun

Anthony Chun has a diverse work experience in various software engineering roles. Anthony is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at Cognits, where they collaborate with other squads to improve the customer digital experience and focuses on servant leadership to create a supportive team environment. Previously, they worked as a Software Engineer at Cognits, where they developed new software features and enhanced the customer experience using technologies like Temenos Quantum Visualizer, JavaScript, Android Studio, and Xcode.

Before joining Cognits, Anthony worked at Ittraktys as a Full Stack Developer from 2017 to 2022. In this role, they designed software architectures and developed applications using Java, Hibernate, Oracle, SQLServer, Spring Boot, JWT, Smart Cards, Biometrical devices. Anthony also gained experience with NodeJs, Angular, and MongoDB.

Anthony Chun began their career at Superintendencia de Administración Tributaria in 2011 as an Asesor Informático de la Intendencia de Aduanas. Later, they became an Analista de sistemas sénior, where they worked on Java Enterprise applications for Customs projects in Guatemala. Anthony implemented new port projects and applications for Intendencia de Aduanas and Intendencia de Recaudación.

Anthony Chun obtained a Master of Engineering degree with a specialization in Telecommunications from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from the same university between 2005 and 2010. Both their degrees were focused on the field of engineering.
