JORGE CARRILLO

Jorge Carrillo's most recent work experience is as a Software Engineer at Cognits, starting in February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Developer at Teach For All from September 2021 to December 2021. Jorge also served as an IT Consultant at Millennium Challenge Corporation and FHI 360 in 2021, from September to October and February to October, respectively. Before that, Jorge worked as a Software Developer at FHI 360 from June 2018 to December 2020. Jorge also had a role as a Research Student at National Chiao Tung University from June 2019 to December 2019. Their earliest work experience was as an Assistant Professor at Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala, where they worked from July 2016 to June 2018.

Jorge Carrillo began their education journey in 2013 when they enrolled at the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala to pursue an Engineer's degree in Computer Engineering. Jorge completed their undergraduate studies in 2018. Seeking further academic growth, Jorge then joined Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala again in 2014 and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, which they are expected to complete in 2023. In addition to their academic pursuits, Jorge actively pursued various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Jorge obtained certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, AWS Cloud Quest: Cloud Practitioner, edX Verified Certificates for Machine Learning with Python and Probability, Complete IBM Cognos Analytics 11.2 Cloud Training Course, Data Analysis and Visualization, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate. These certifications demonstrate Jorge's commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in their field.
