Orvil Smith is a digital transformation leader with over three decades of experience in the energy industry. Currently, they serve as the Head of Oil & Gas and Utilities for North America at Cognizant, where they focus on driving IT operations evolution. Previously, Orvil held key roles at Oracle, GE Oil & Gas, and Invensys, where they demonstrated expertise in business-technology alignment, innovation strategy, and client relationship management. Orvil earned a Bachelor of Management in Marketing from the University of Lethbridge and a Diploma in Agriculture Business from Lethbridge Community College.
