Tim Smith has extensive experience in leadership and project management across various organizations. At Cognizant, Tim served as VP of Project and Program Management COE from November 2019 to March 2023, focusing on leadership development, and previously held the role of AVP Program Manager, establishing methodologies for large transformational programs. Prior to Cognizant, Tim was Chief Operations Officer at Veritas Genetics, where responsibilities included building operational infrastructure for a pioneering startup in consumer genomic testing. Tim's career also includes roles such as VP of Strategy and Planning at Cimpress, Vice President at Medullan overseeing healthcare technology solutions, and Chief Operations Officer at True Office, where Tim focused on internal operations and R&D initiatives. Tim holds an MBA in Finance, Management & Information Systems from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School and a BS in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.
