Eric Chen

Eric Chen serves as the Senior Vice President of Finance at Cognoa since September 2020, overseeing FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, and Finance Operations. Previously, Eric held the position of Vice President of Commercial at BridgeBio, leading the commercial efforts for the rare disease startup Origin Biosciences. Other notable roles include Senior Director of Commercial Development at Horizon, where Eric was instrumental in the development of Teprotumumab, and roles in marketing and strategy at Raptor Pharmaceuticals, Onyx Pharmaceuticals, and Halozyme Therapeutics. Eric's career began in consulting with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and included a summer analyst position at Merrill Lynch. Eric holds a PhD and MS in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University, along with an SB in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and has been a research fellow at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.
