Mog Nesbitt

Mog Nesbitt has extensive experience in the technology industry, with a focus on engineering and leadership roles. Mog is currently the Head of Technology at Cogo, where they oversee technology operations. Prior to that, they worked as the Principal Advisor and an Engineering Consultant at Cogo. In 2023, Mog co-founded Ternary and served as a Co-Founder. From 2021 to 2023, they were the vCTO/vCOO at Summer of Tech. In 2021, Mog served as the CTO at Raygun, where they implemented delivery management practices and enhanced engineering culture. Before that, they were the Head of Engineering at Trade Me, where they managed a large technology team and introduced a new operating model. From 2017 to 2018, Mog was the Head of Delivery at NEC New Zealand Limited, leading a commercial delivery team. Prior to that, they worked as a Startup Founder, Consultant, and Contractor. Mog also served as the Software Development Manager at Powershop NZ Ltd, where they were responsible for team management and building a learning culture. Additionally, Mog worked as a Software Contractor at Serious Orange and held the role of CTO at YouDo, leading technical management and DevOps.

Mog Nesbitt earned a BSc degree in Computer Science from the University of Canterbury between 1995 and 1997. In 2005-2006, they completed a Diploma in Therapeutic Massage at the New Zealand College of Massage.
