Mario Resch began their work experience in 2003 as a Portfolio Manager at ZZ Vermögensverwaltung GmbH. In 2008, they joined Oesterreichische Nationalbank as a Senior Advisor in Banking Supervision. In 2010, they became the Chairman of the Board at NetHotels AG. In 2015, they founded and became the Founder of Econminds, specializing in start-up and finance services. In 2016, they became an Investor and Board of Directors member at Fan Gene rs AG. Finally, in 2018, they became an Investor and CFO at Cogvis Software und Consulting GmbH.
Mario Resch has a diverse education history in the field of finance. In 1999, they began their undergraduate studies at the University of Vienna, majoring in International Business Administration/Finance. Mario completed their undergraduate degree in 2004 and obtained the degree of Mag./MA.
In 2003, Mario also had the opportunity to study abroad at Aarhus University, where they focused on finance.
After completing their undergraduate studies, Mario furthered their education in finance by enrolling at the University of Vienna once again. From 2003 to 2005, they pursued a postgraduate degree in Finance, specializing in the field of Computational and Empirical Finance (CCEFM).
In 2005, Mario began their professional certifications in the financial field. Mario attended the CFA Institute from 2005 to 2008, obtaining the prestigious designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Additionally, in 2009, Mario attended the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) to specialize in Financial Risk Management. Mario completed the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) program in the same year.
Throughout their education journey, Mario has demonstrated a dedication to expanding their knowledge and expertise in finance through both academic pursuits and professional certifications.
