The Cohab Initiative is an international programme of work to promote health and well-being through the conservation of the world's biodiversity.

Cohab works to address the gaps in awareness, policy, science and action on the links between biodiversity and human health and well-being.

The Initiative provides a forum for policy makers, scientists, businesses and communities to share knowledge and experience. Cohab's partners work towards a holistic approach to health protection that recognises the importance of a healthy natural environment and the services it provides.

The work of the Initiative is directed and co-ordinated through the Secretariat, based in Dublin and Galway, Ireland.
