Cohen Commercial Properties (CCP) was launched in 1998 and by 2008 owned commercial property in 13 states ranging in size from 50,000 square feet to over 300,000 square feet.

In 2014 CCP began selling many of its fully stabilized shopping centers as the difficulty in retail landscape began to accelerate. CCP pivoted and redeployed its capital into warehouses, multifamily (including student housing for New York City), land for residential development, experiential retail and selectively purchased under performing retail and office property. All property has been purchased with partners who specialize in those various property types.
