David Cairuz

David Cairuz has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. David began their career as a Software Engineering Intern at ClickBus, where they developed a system for optimizing bus routes using Python and SQL. David then worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Universidade de São Paulo, where they utilized NLP techniques to improve temporal Recommender Systems.

In 2020, David worked as a Freelance Software Engineer on Upwork, completing over 24 projects for 18 clients with a 100% job success rate. David also received Upwork's Top Rated badge for their exceptional work.

David then joined Scope as a Backend Engineer, contributing to the development and improvement of the Scope platform and two smaller applications. David utilized Python, Flask, Elastic Search, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS services to enhance the company's CRM tool.

Currently, David is working as a Data Engineer at Cohere, where they utilize their skills to contribute to data-related projects within the company.
