Florian STRUB

Florian Strub is a Senior Staff Research Scientist at Cohere, currently co-leading the Post-Training department while managing the European reinforcement learning team. Florian developed the foundation for a reinforcement learning team at Cohere and played a crucial role in refactoring the post-training pipeline, significantly enhancing the codebase and memory efficiency. Previously, they were a Senior Research Scientist at Google DeepMind, where they coordinated a team focused on training large language models and advanced multimodal model development. Florian holds a double master's degree in engineering and an MSc in advanced computing from Imperial College London.
