Josh Gartner

Josh Gartner has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Josh is currently the Head of Communications at Cohere since 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Corporate Communications at TikTok from 2019 to 2023. From 2018 to 2019, they were the Head of Communications at Hillhouse Capital Management, where they led the company's global communications efforts. Before that, they held the position of Vice President of Corporate Affairs at JD.COM, a leading Chinese e-commerce company, from 2014 to 2018. Josh also worked as an Associate Partner at Brunswick Group, handling crisis, corporate, and financial communications, from 2011 to 2014. Josh started their career as the Director of Communications at the American Chamber of Commerce in China (AmCham China) from 2007 to 2011.
