Kay Chen

Kay Chen has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Currently, at Quantifi Photonics, they hold the position of Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they are responsible for developing and maintaining software applications.

Prior to their current position, Kay Chen worked at Xiamen Airlines for several years. Starting as a Java Web Developer in 2009, they then progressed to the role of Senior Java Software Engineer in 2011. Later, they became an Intermediate Software Engineer and then a Senior Software Engineer, managing a team of 11 people. In these roles, they were involved in various tasks such as systems analysis, design, development, maintenance, and refactoring. Kay also played a key role in upgrading the company's flight operation control system.

Throughout their career, Kay Chen has gained expertise in a range of programming languages and technologies, including C#, .NET, Java, VUE, JavaScript, MySQL, Redis, Oracle, and Jenkins. Kay has utilized micro-services, cloud computing, and continuous integration and delivery to enhance application performance, availability, and robustness.

Kay Chen completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics at Xiamen University from 2005 to 2009. Later on, they pursued a Master of Engineering in Software Systems Engineering at the University of Melbourne in 2010.
