Darryl McCoy

Darryl McCoy is the VP and General Manager at Coherent Scotland, a position held since 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Marketing and Product Management at Coherent Laser. McCoy founded and managed Photonic Solutions from 1999 to 2011 and worked as a Laser Engineer at Edinburgh Instruments Limited from 1997 to 1999. They also contributed as an ALF project engineer at World Geoscience Corporation between 1992 and 1997. McCoy earned a B.Engineering in Electronics/Electrical from The University of Western Australia, completing their degree in 1991.
