Shawn Esser

Shawn Esser has extensive experience in the field of product management. Shawn began their career at Lucent Technologies in 1988, managing the Optical Amplifier and Uncooled Laser product lines. Shawn then worked at Motorola as a Senior Product Manager, overseeing product strategy and roadmaps for optical network equipment. In 2011, Shawn joined Finisar as a Director of Product Management, where they held responsibilities for a decade. Currently, they serve as the Director of Product Management at Coherent Inc. Overall, Shawn has a strong track record in managing product lifecycles and spearheading the New Product Introduction process for a variety of projects.

Shawn Esser obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University, completing their education between 1984 and 1988.
