Steven Vallone

Steven Vallone is a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for New Product Introduction at Coherent Inc. since September 2022, specializing in project management and development of technologies related to nonlinear optical crystals and electro-optic devices. Previous experience includes serving as a lecturer at Fordham University and adjunct faculty at Brooklyn College, teaching undergraduate physics and biochemistry. Earlier roles involved significant research as a Graduate Research Assistant and Fellow within the City University of New York system, focusing on neutron and X-ray diffraction as well as laser-induced thermal cycles. Prior to academic positions, Steven Vallone managed operations at General Die And Die Cutting, Inc. Steven Vallone holds a PhD in Physics and multiple advanced degrees in related fields from reputable institutions, including The Johns Hopkins University.
