Joe Samson

Joe Samson has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1976 with a Field Service Engineer role at Picker Medical Systems. Joe then moved to The Computer Store of Ann Arbor in 1977, where they worked as a Field Service Engineer. In 1981, Joe took on a Digital Designer role at Medtronic Medical Data Systems, where they were responsible for new circuit designs and product improvements. In 1985, they moved to Raycon Corporation, where they were a Digital Designer and designed an 8051-based embedded controller for a new product. Joe then worked as a Research Engineer at Erim International in 1998 and Veridian Systems in 1999. In 2003, they took on the role of Principal Engineer - Electrical at General Dynamics AIS before moving to Pixel Velocity in 2004 as an Engineer. Finally, in 2017, Joe began their current role as a Senior Hardware Engineer at Coherix, Inc.

Joe Samson attended Eastern Michigan University from 1984 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.
