John O'Brien is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in financial management and strategic planning. Currently serving as Senior Director of GTM Finance at Cohesity since July 2021, John has previously held key finance roles at VMware as Director of Finance, Pivotal, Inc. as Senior Director of Finance, and VCE as Finance Director. Additionally, John has experience in international finance management from a previous role at SolarWinds. Early in the career, John developed foundational skills as an Audit Manager and Audit Senior at KPMG in Ireland. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University College Cork, earned between 1999 and 2002.
