Renee Jacowitz

Renee Jacowitz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and technology management. Currently serving as the Director of Legal-Technology Interlock and Director of Intellectual Property at Cohesity, Renee has successfully expanded an international patent portfolio in collaboration with engineering teams across the US, India, and Canada. Prior to Cohesity, Renee held the position of Patent Agent at Quantcast, where responsibilities included identifying patentable concepts and managing patent applications within a leading data-intelligence platform. Additional experience includes roles as a Technical Consultant specializing in patent drafting and analysis, and significant contributions to Hewlett-Packard as a Technologist and Software Engineer. Renee holds a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
