Scott Lorenz

Scott Lorenz is a seasoned technical professional with extensive experience in database management and solutions engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Solutions Engineer at Cohesity since February 2018, Scott leads SQL Data Protection Customer Zero lab and testing efforts, contributing to the development of SQL Server features presented at industry events. Prior to Cohesity, Scott held positions including Expert SQL Database Administrator at Allscripts, where management encompassed over eighteen thousand databases across various healthcare product lines, and Sr. Database Administrator at eCast Corporation, overseeing production and development databases. Scott's career began in software development roles, including positions at Vanguard Cellular and CSC, following education in Accounting and Information Systems at The University of Texas at San Antonio, alongside further theological studies.
