Giulia Sala

Giulia Sala has a diverse range of work experience in the compliance and AML field. Giulia is currently the Compliance & AML Director at COIMA, where they manage compliance for the company's real estate investment funds. Prior to this, they worked as a Director of Compliance at Morgan Stanley and as a Compliance Officer at Columbia Threadneedle Investments and CMC Markets. Giulia also has experience in the banking sector, having worked as a Certified Compliance Specialist at Banca Profilo and a Certified Compliance Officer at Gruppo Banca Sella. Giulia Sala began their career as a Compliance Intern at Goldman Sachs and the European Commission, where they gained valuable experience in policy and regulatory matters.

Giulia Sala's education history includes a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics and Management for Public Administrations and International Institutions from Università Bocconi, which they obtained between 2010 and 2012. Giulia also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics and Management for Arts, Culture and Communication from the same university, earned from 2007 to 2010. In 2009, they participated in an exchange program at Yonsei University, focusing on Business and International Studies/Political Science. Giulia completed their high school education at Liceo Classico "Don Carlo Gnocchi" from 2002 to 2007, where they specialized in humanistic studies.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Giulia has obtained several certifications. These include the CCEP-I (International Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional) from the Compliance Certification Board (CCB), earned in April 2015. Giulia also holds a Business English Certificate Higher pass at grade A from Cambridge University, obtained in August 2012. Furthermore, they received the Diplôme de Français Professionel (DFP) Affaires, votation Très Bien from Chambre du Commerce de Paris in June 2012. Additionally, Giulia obtained the European Computer Driving License (ECDL) from the Associazione Italiana per l'Informatica ed il Calcolo Automatico in November 2002.
