Alex Cusack

Alex Cusack is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Coinbase since October 2018, Alex oversees critical aspects of frontend, backend, and platform execution for spot trading. Previous roles at Coinbase include Engineering Manager for Consumer Trading and Staff Engineer leading advanced trading initiatives. Prior to Coinbase, Alex was a Technical Lead at Earnest Inc., responsible for the servicing team's technical infrastructure and client applications. Alex's early career includes roles in business development and product management, along with a strong foundation in software engineering through hands-on positions and program leadership, complemented by education in International Business from Azusa Pacific University.
