Ben Floyd

Ben Floyd currently serves as the Head of Coinbase Execution Services, a role held since January 2019 at Coinbase, which aims to create an open financial system. Prior to this, Ben co-founded and served as CEO of BPL Digital, a payments-focused mobile and web agency acquired in April 2018, and launched the Bar Pass payments app for the hospitality sector. Ben's earlier experience includes working as an Equity Trader at Merrill Lynch, where responsibilities encompassed managing various trading books and client relationships, as well as a Summer Internship at Deutsche Bank focused on DCM and cash equity sales trading. An Industrial Placement at Thomson Reuters also contributed to Ben's professional background. Educational credentials include a 2:1 (Hons) in Business Management from Newcastle University and a Level 1 pass in the CFA program.
