David Ko

David Ko is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and investment. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Engineering at Coinbase since October 2021, David also contributes as an Angel Investor and Advisor at Harmony and as an Angel Investor at XA Network, dedicated to supporting startups in Southeast Asia. Previously, David led the Google Pay Global App Platform team at Google from July 2017 to October 2021, managing a team of 150 engineers across the APAC region. As a co-founder of Jide Technology, David played a pivotal role in developing Android desktop computing solutions, overseeing a team that launched five major versions of Remix OS. David’s career includes significant positions at Google, Transformic Inc., and Nimble Technology, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of Washington.
