Doug Sharp

Doug Sharp serves as the Senior Director and Associate General Counsel at Coinbase since March 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing corporate governance, capital markets, securities reporting, and M&A efforts, among others. A notable achievement includes the successful hiring of a team of over 15 attorneys and paralegals and leading Coinbase's direct listing on Nasdaq. Prior to this role, Doug worked as a Corporate Associate at Fenwick & West from October 2014 to March 2020, managing corporate legal projects for prominent technology companies, including Airbnb and Dropbox, with a focus on significant venture capital rounds. Doug holds a JD from Stanford Law School and a BA in Public Policy from the University of Michigan, with additional education from the University of Oxford.
