Georgios Vasilakis

Georgios Vasilakis is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Coinbase since June 2022, specializing in RecSys and GenAI Consumer Applications. Previously, Georgios worked at Getaround as a Data Scientist focusing on Marketplace Dynamics from November 2019 to June 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Machine Learning Scientist at Expedia Group, where work involved deep learning and computer vision from October 2018 to October 2019, along with a data science internship in the same field. Georgios also conducted research in Machine Learning at Imperial College London from April 2018 to September 2018 and at the National Technical University of Athens from October 2016 to June 2017, concentrating on deep learning and image-to-text tasks.
