Gilad Buchman is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Coinbase since September 2021, Gilad manages the Consumer AI/ML Recommendations team, overseeing key functionalities such as Search, Feed Ranking, and Notifications targeting. Prior to Coinbase, Gilad worked at Twitter from January 2014 to September 2021, where roles included Engineering Manager for the Explore, Trends, and Events Discovery team, as well as tech lead positions. Additional experience includes software engineering roles at companies such as CardSpring and Keas, where Gilad contributed to innovative payment solutions and social gaming architecture. Gilad holds an MS in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a BSc in Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University.
