John O'Loghlen

John O'Loghlen has extensive experience in leadership roles across prominent companies in the fintech and technology sectors. Currently, John serves as the Managing Director for APAC at Coinbase since July 2022. Prior to this position, John was a Regional Director and Director of Alipay for Australia & New Zealand at Ant Group from August 2018 to July 2022. John's career also includes a role as Director of Business Development at Alibaba Group from March 2016 to July 2018, and Director at Gung Ho Ventures from January 2009 to February 2016. Additionally, John contributed as a Government Advisor for the China Program at NZTE Beachheads from January 2009 to January 2011. John holds an M. Phil in Social Studies from the University of Cambridge and a B.A. in Social Studies from Harvard University.
