Max Brawer

Max Brawer is an experienced professional in protective intelligence and global security operations, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Protective Intelligence at Coinbase since January 2019. In this role, Max leads a team overseeing strategic intelligence, risk management, threat management, and backgrounds, while also managing the strategic vision, budget, and resource allocation. Prior to this, Max was the founding manager of the Protective Intelligence program at Coinbase and has held various positions focusing on risk assessment and operational efficiency. Before joining Coinbase, Max worked as a Global Operations Analyst at Gavin de Becker & Associates and gained experience in consultancy and market research roles at Boost Healthcare, Rollease Acmeda, MCE Social Capital, Airbanq, and other organizations. Max holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a focus on Political Economy and Development from the University of Michigan.
