Michael Walsh

Michael (Fred) Walsh is a Chief Compliance and Risk Officer with over 18 years of experience in regulatory roles within international financial services. Currently, they serve as Head of Compliance at Coinbase Ireland, overseeing compliance strategies in the evolving financial landscape. Previously, they held significant positions, including Head of Compliance & MLRO at FNZ (Europe) DAC and Lead Associate at the Financial Conduct Authority, where they were instrumental in driving regulatory relationships and compliance initiatives. Michael earned a B.COMM and LLB from the University of Galway in 2005.
