Sam Lott

Sam Lott is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in anti-money laundering and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as a Senior Compliance Associate at Coinbase since July 2018, Sam is responsible for investigating suspicious activities, managing law enforcement requests, and developing compliance programs in line with FCA regulations. Prior to Coinbase, Sam worked at Amazon in various roles, including Risk Control Analyst and Anti-Money Laundering Investigator, where responsibilities included the investigation of money laundering cases and production of Suspicious Activity Reports to the Financial Intelligence Unit. Sam's background also includes quality assurance in translation and data analysis, supported by a Master's Degree in Translation Studies from Cardiff University and a Bachelor's Degree in Italian and Spanish.
