Tarun Gupta

Tarun Gupta has a diverse work experience in the technology and cryptocurrency industry. Tarun is currently the Founder and CEO of Coinshift, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this role, they were the Cofounder and COO of Parcel Inc from October 2020 to May 2021.

Before their involvement with Parcel Inc, Tarun worked as the Lead Infrastructure Engineer at Biconomy from April 2019 to October 2020. During their time there, they played a crucial role in designing the architecture of the Smart Relayer Engine infrastructure and managing a highly scalable module for handling ethereum transactions.

Tarun also co-founded Coinsafe in 2018, where they served as the Technical Architect. Their responsibilities included designing and developing the Bitcoin key recovery protocol for the Coinsafe app, building API servers, and developing the Android and iOS app using React Native.

Prior to Coinsafe, Tarun was the Co-Founder and Technical Architect at Vevsa Technologies from May 2017 to September 2018. Tarun worked on projects related to crypto exchanges, offline signing wallets, and implemented a liquidation engine and risk management system for a crypto derivative exchange.

Their career started with the founding of Vevsa Books in 2015, where they designed and developed an Android app for buying and selling used books online. Tarun also designed various back-end APIs for mobile and web applications.

Throughout their work experience, Tarun has showcased their expertise in infrastructure design, cryptocurrency technology, and app development.

Tarun Gupta obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY, completing the program from 2012 to 2016.
