Adam Hyde

Founder at Coko

Adam Hyde has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Adam founded Collaborative Knowledge Foundation (Coko) in 2015 and continues to be involved in the organization. In 2019, they also founded Open Publishing Awards and Open Publishing Fest. In 2018, they founded Paged.js. Adam also worked as a Fellow at the Shuttleworth Foundation starting from 2015. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as an Aperta Architect/Designer at Public Library of Science (PLOS). Prior to that, they founded and managed Booktype at Sourcefabric z.u. from 2012 to 2014. Similarly, they were the Founder and CEO of Book Sprints from 2008 to 2014. Adam also founded FLOSS Manuals in 2007. Before entering the publishing and software industry, Adam worked as an Artist at radioqualia from 1998 to 2007. Additionally, they worked at XS4ALL Internet BV as the Manager of Web Dec, Windows Services, Autopilot, and Various Special Projects from 2000 to 2002.

Adam Hyde attended The University of Waikato from 1986 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy.
