Choong S. currently serves as the Director and Head of Silicon Valley at 3M Ventures since June 2020, while also holding investor roles at Gatik, Clau, Laika Mascotas, and CoLab Software since 2020. In addition, Choong S. is a General Partner at Sohn Capital Advisors and has previously worked as a Sr. Manager in Open Innovation at Lenovo Group Ltd, focusing on venture investments in machine learning, AR/VR, and IoT technologies. Earlier experience includes an Investment Associate position at SK Telecom Americas and serving as Chief Marketing Officer at RED Resource Inc. Choong S. holds an MBA in Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management, a Master of Engineering in Materials Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
