Mohammad Nahangi

Mohammad Nahangi, PhD, PEng, is a Staff AI/ML Software Engineer and the Engineering Manager of the Applied ML Team at CoLab Software. Previously, they served as a Principal AI Scientist at Katerra, where they developed machine vision and deep learning solutions to enhance assembly processes. With a strong academic background, including a PhD in Computer Vision from the University of Waterloo, they have also contributed as a postdoctoral fellow at both the University of Toronto and the University of Waterloo, specializing in automated data collection and construction management systems. Their extensive experience encompasses teaching assistant roles and leading AI initiatives across several notable organizations.
