Adriaan Ris

Adriaan Ris is a seasoned Technical Director with extensive experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects across various sectors. Currently at Colas Projects since April 2017, Ris oversees planning and risk analysis for significant initiatives, including the Oosterweel Link Project and the Liege Tramway project. Prior roles include serving as Technical Director at Eramet, where Ris managed engineering and design activities for a $3 billion processing plant in Gabon, and Project Manager at PT. Weda Bay Nickel, directing all infrastructure design for a $4 billion nickel plant project in Indonesia. Ris's career also spans positions at Arcadis, DHV, and Volker Wessels, involving project management, business development, and engineering consultancy in civil and marine engineering. Education includes a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
