Peter Knowles

Peter Knowles is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in performance assurance and continuous improvement within the civil engineering and education sectors. Currently serving as Performance Assurance and Lean Deployment Manager at COLAS since April 2009, Peter is seconded to the A-one+ joint venture, focusing on performance assurance and lean improvement across multiple management area contracts. Prior to this role, Peter held management positions at CarillionWSP and WSP Group, where responsibilities included continuous improvement in highway maintenance projects. Peter's career began in the manufacturing industry with NSK, where roles ranged from Business Unit Manufacturing Manager to Quality Assurance Manager, and further back as Laboratory Manager and Works Metallurgist at RHP Bearings Ltd. Peter possesses a solid educational background, including a Full Technological Certificate in Materials Science and various diplomas in industrial management and therapeutic counseling.
