Matthew Cheah

Matthew Cheah has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. From 2009-2011, they worked as a Studio Attendant at UC Irvine, a Video Marketing employee at UCI Campus Recreation, and a Production Videographer at NEAD llc. From 2011-2014, they worked as a Marketing Manager at Classy Deer, LLC and a Search Specialist at Local Splash - Local SEO Company. From 2014-2018, they worked as a Web Developer at Bisnar Chase Personal Injury Attorneys and most recently as a Software Developer at COLBI. During their time at Bisnar Chase, they developed a new lightweight PHP back end framework and implemented a development environment that included version control, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, Node.js Jasmine Tests, and documentation workflow. At Local Splash, they developed over 15 customized websites for clients, performed on-site SEO and keyword research, and documented best development and SEO practices.

Matthew Cheah attended Bloc in 2017 to study Software Development. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Film and Media Studies from UC Irvine between 2007 and 2011.
