Colby College
Sydney Pascal is an Economic Research Assistant at Colby College, contributing to the development of Professor Patrice Franko's textbook on Latin American economic development. Additionally, Sydney serves as an Editor in Chief for the Overture Journal of International Affairs, managing a budget and overseeing the editorial process. Previous roles include tutoring in a writing center, conducting historical research under Professor Arnout Van der Meer, and working in customer service positions at West Village Tavern and Main Streets Market & Cafe. Sydney also has experience as a ski instructor and as a writer for the student-led online newspaper Newspective. Currently pursuing an education at Colby College after earning a high school diploma from Acton-Boxborough Regional High School, Sydney has also participated in a program with The School of The New York Times.
