Khaled Behairy

Khaled Behairy has over five years of work experience in the oil and gas industry. Khaled began their career in 2015 as a Research Assistant for the Catalysis for Bitumen Upgrading and Hydrogen Production Group at the University of Calgary. In 2016, they worked as a Process Engineer/Regulatory Reporting Support Co-op and a Reservoir Engineer Co-op at Suncor Energy. In 2017, they were a Reservoir Engineer Student for a Capstone Design Project at Crescent Point Energy. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Production/Completions Engineer Co-op at Tourmaline Oil Corp, an Exploitation Engineer and Engineering Student at Birchcliff Energy Ltd., and a Production Engineer at Baytex Energy Corp. Most recently, they are a Software Engineer at Cold Bore Technology.

Khaled Behairy has a Master of Engineering in Software Engineering from the University of Calgary, which they obtained in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Oil and Gas Engineering from the University of Calgary in 2018. In addition, they have obtained six certifications from Coursera in 2020, including Data Analysis with Python, Data Visualization with Python, Databases and SQL for Data Science, Python for Data Science and AI, Data Science Methodology, and Open Source Tools for Data Science.
