Jan Bæk

Jan B. serves as a Pilot and Commissioned Officer in the United States Air Force since April 2013, specializing as the sole systems expert aboard a multi-billion dollar intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance aircraft, with experience in critical systems troubleshooting under tight deadlines for national security missions. Prior to military service, Jan B. worked as a Lighting Technician for Royal Caribbean from November 2009 to March 2011, responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lighting and special effects equipment across multiple venues while engaging with diverse cultures in an isolated environment. Jan B. holds an MBA/MS in Information Systems from the University of Utah, obtained from September 2020 to August 2023, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from Texas State University, where studies occurred from 2006 to 2008.
